Course Outline

  1. Review vocabulary about pollution and acquire new vocabulary about Cleanliness in Town; Discover the Green Bird association and suggest how it can be more successful; React to unpleasant sights in town. For example, “Ugh! That’s so repulsive!”
  2. React to Learn vocabulary related to Sanctions and Initiatives, Scrutinize posters in town and discuss about suitable sanctions for ruining the town’s image.
  3. Learn the Reported Speech (Present and Past) in conjunction with introductory verbs; Review all the Past tenses and apply them to recall what one was taught in school about Cleanliness. For example, “When I was young, I used to keep all used wrappers in my desk. The teacher asked me why I wasn’t getting rid of them.”
  4. Share opinions about Graffiti in town; Review the different forms of the Interrogative sentence; Study a text and ask about ways in which one can embellish the town. For example, “Would the town be more attractive if there were more lights alongside the roads?”; Watch and share thoughts on a video about Lighting the City.

  6. Discover Escape Games through a document; Relate personal experiences about Escape Rooms; Debate about whether Escape Games are helpful to Health; Use the Future Perfect tense to detail an imaginary Escape Room.
